Club Tankard

The OPRFC prides itself on having a good off the field atmosphere for the the players and in light of this the committee have decided to replace the traditional cap system in operation at normal clubs with the Tankard Award. For lets face it a "cap" is a pretty useless piece of kit while a Tankard can be used to enjoy your beer! 

The tankards are awarded at the end of the season dinner by the committee to players who have excelled themselves on or off the field in the cause of furthering the development of the OPRFC. 

Criteria before selection can be considered by the Committee

1st Team Tankard

Played over 10 games a season for 3 seasons at 1st Team level.
Playing exceptionally well when judged against their team mates.
Being an example to others around the Club.

2nd Team Tankard

Played over 10 games a season for 3 seasons at 2nd Team level.
Playing exceptionally well when judged against their team mates.
Being an example to others around the Club.
